Welcome

The MountainView Lady Putters (MVLP) was founded by Lou Ann Garvin in February of 1998.  It is a fun-loving group interested in camaraderie.  Whether your goal is to make new friends, to have fun, or to improve your game, Putters is a pleasant social group.  For those interested in competition, weekly, monthly, and annual prizes are given using a handicap system.  To read more about the history and founding members, click here.

The MVLP’s meet Monday mornings on the patio behind the Mesquite Grill for our announcements and then putt on the large green nearest the Pro Shop.  From April 1 through September 30, announcements begin at 7:30 AM for the first putting group and at 9:00 AM for the second group.  October 1 through March 31 announcements begin at 8:45 AM for the first putting group and at 10:15 AM for the second putting group.

Putters wear their official MVLP pink shirts to all specified events.  White capris/pants/shorts accompany the official shirts to events from April 1 through September 30.  The pants color changes to black for official events from October 1 through March 31.

There is no putting in the fall (usually September or early October) while the course is closed for over seeding.  Regular monthly luncheons continue as scheduled during this over seeding period.

Whenever possible, carpool with a friend, as parking space is limited.  Remember to bring your water bottle and a hat, and wear sunscreen, particularly during the warmer months.
