Putting Time

There will be no putting from Monday September 15 for three Mondays. Putting will resume on October 6th, and we will begin our winter hours on that date.  Putting will start at 9:30 A.M.

The trip to Quail Creek, scheduled for October 29, 2025, has been cancelled.

Grab your favorite partner, husband, friend, neighbor, or anyone who loves a good laugh and a little friendly competition, and join us for an afternoon of putting fun on November 12th. Registration: 3:00 pm, Putting: 3:30 pm, Dinner: 5:30 pm.
 
Menu Choices: Roaster Mediterranean Chicken: herbed chicken breast topped with roasted tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, basil, shredded Parmesan cheese; wild rice pilaf, and chef’s vegetable. Dessert.
                                                                                    OR
Grilled Salmon: wild rice pilaf, chef’s vegetables, and Tequila Beurre Blanc. Dessert.
                                                                                     OR
Vegetable Option: Plant-Based Chicken
 
ANNOUNCEMENT OCTOBER 6, 2025
Hurray, it’s finally here, the moment we’ve been waiting for! We resume putting tomorrow morning at 9:30 am.
 
LUNCHEON – If you plan to attend our luncheon on October 13th, please have your $20.00 check in the black box by tomorrow at 2:00 pm. The lunch menu is the Chicken Taco Salad, consisting of mixed greens, chile-spiced chicken, black bean pico de gallio, mixed shredded cheddar and jack cheeses, pickled onions, tortilla strips, salsa, sour cream, and a side of ranch dressing. Ballroom doors will open at 11:30.
 
Additionally, for those so inclined, Halloween costumes can be worn on October 27th, the last Monday in October.
 
One last comment – Patti Deegans husband, Tim, passed away on September 12th. A Celebration of Life is planned for January. For those of you who would like to express your condolences, her address is:

This is a reminder. We do NOT putt September 29th. We will resume putting on October 6th at 9:30, which is our winter hours. If you plan to attend the luncheon on October 13th, your check for $20.00 must be placed in the black box by 2:00 p.m. on the 6th, the same day we resume putting. You may want to drop it off before the 6th. MVLP MONDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS AUGUST 31, 2025
Good afternoon, Lady Putters. Just a reminder: our next luncheon is scheduled for September 8th. The deadline to get your $20.00 check in the Black Box by 2:00 pm is this Monday, September 1st. The menu features The Italian Grinder, which consists of black forest ham, salami, provolone cheese, shaved lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pepperoncini, and red wine vinaigrette. Any dietary restrictions should be indicated on the memo of your check, and the check must be made out to the Mountain View Ladies Putters.

MVLP MONDAY ANNOUNCEMENTS AUGUST 10, 2025
Good morning, Lady Putters
August 11th is our Hawaiian Goofy Golf Monday, followed by our Hawaiian-themed monthly luncheon. This is a regularly scheduled putting day, so there is no extra charge for putting. Scores and hole-in-ones at this event will not count toward monthly prizes or handicaps. There will be special door prizes at the luncheon. MENU: Par Three Salad consisting of egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad on a bed of greens, grape tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and served with roll and butter. LUNCHEON is $20.00. Checks are due in the black box tomorrow, Monday, August 4th, by 2:00 pm. Please note any dietary restrictions on the memo portion of your check made out to the Mountain View Ladies Putters.
